Bio
Starting counselling can be a difficult and intimidating step to take, which is why Maddy strives to meet clients with compassion, authenticity, and without judgement. Being an authentic counsellor is key to therapeutic success as it helps to foster the client-counsellor relationship and allows clients to be their real selves. Maddy aims to bring light energy and laughter into the space when appropriate to help navigate negative core beliefs and challenge them to improve your quality of life. When out of the office, Maddy spends her time in the back-country - hiking, cross-country skiing, or in the Slocan Lake (all year round!)
